Impro­ve Work Pro­ces­ses with the New PLANTA pul­se Version

Inte­gra­ti­on of Appli­ca­ti­ons, Pro­ces­ses, and Docu­ments with Inte­gro­mat and Micro­soft 365

The new ver­si­on of the agi­le PLANTA pul­se pro­ject manage­ment soft­ware comes with sub­stan­ti­al new fea­tures which impro­ve the user work­flow and enhan­ce col­la­bo­ra­ti­on, e.g. through the opti­on to inter­link appli­ca­ti­ons and to edit docu­ments tog­e­ther from any­whe­re. The­se sim­pli­fied work pro­ces­ses are of gre­at advan­ta­ge, espe­ci­al­ly in times of incre­asing mobi­le work and work in disper­sed teams.

PLANTA pul­se can be used both as an agi­le pro­ject manage­ment and col­la­bo­ra­ti­on tool as well as in hybrid form in com­bi­na­ti­on with PLANTA pro­ject via SaaS or on-pre­­mi­­ses. The­re are three dif­fe­rent edi­ti­ons of PLANTA pul­se: Free, Pre­mi­um, Hybrid. Even the free ver­si­on comes with an unli­mi­t­ed num­ber of boards as well as num­e­rous func­tions for task structuring.

Work­flow Auto­ma­ti­on with Integromat

PLANTA pul­se is now available as an app on Inte­gro­mat (Pre­mi­um Fea­ture). This online inte­gra­ti­on tool allows you to seam­less­ly link PLANTA pul­se with dif­fe­rent appli­ca­ti­ons. Wit­hout pro­gramming effort whatsoe­ver, manu­al work pro­ces­ses can be auto­ma­ted and repe­ti­ti­ve acti­vi­ties can be omitted.

You can, e.g., use an inte­gro­mat to auto­ma­te the work­flow in hot­line queries. You can have a card crea­ted in a PLANTA pul­se board for each inco­ming e‑mail in your hot­line address. This way you can set up a work­flow for hot­line request editing which will save you a lot of time. The inte­gro­mat link will take care of the unp­lea­sant task of copy­ing infor­ma­ti­on from e‑mails to the Kan­ban board.

The­re are many more use cases: Deve­lo­pers can track the sta­tus of important deve­lo­p­ment tasks in Git­Hub and crea­te cards in PLANTA pul­se. Task cards can also be crea­ted auto­ma­ti­cal­ly for Jira issues in PLANTA pul­se via inte­gro­mat API. Pro­ject mana­gers can, e.g., have inco­ming mails by cus­to­mers and their attach­ments dis­play­ed in the rele­vant pul­se board of the pro­ject so that all pro­ject team mem­bers can have a look at the new docu­ments. By con­nec­ting the mail­box via inte­gro­mat to the agi­le pro­ject manage­ment tool PLANTA pul­se, the pro­ject mana­ger saves time and no lon­ger get stuck bet­ween e‑mail and pro­ject tool.

Micro­soft 365 Inte­gra­ti­on with OneDrive

The new Micro­soft 365 inte­gra­ti­on for PLANTA pul­se enables loca­­ti­on-inde­­pen­­dent docu­ment manage­ment: Attach­ments from One­Dri­ve can now be lin­ked to cards in PLANTA pul­se and docu­ments can be shared and edi­ted col­la­bo­ra­tively in real-time. An enorm­ous faci­li­ta­ti­on for team work, espe­ci­al­ly in home office and in disper­sed pro­ject teams.

Users, which use the Micro­soft cloud ser­vice for data sto­rage can sim­ply inte­gra­te MS 365 via the API in PLANTA pul­se. A One­Dri­ve busi­ness licen­se is required.

Onboar­ding Process

Using PLANTA pul­se has alre­a­dy been quite intui­ti­ve, with the new wel­co­me board, an exten­ded onboar­­ding-pro­cess now faci­li­ta­tes the first steps in the agi­le pro­ject and col­la­bo­ra­ti­on tool for all users. All sub­stan­ti­al func­tions will be pre­sen­ted to the user in an indi­vi­du­al demo pro­ject with wel­co­me board and can be tes­ted the­re at his/her lei­su­re. The demo pro­ject is only visi­ble to the user and sup­ple­ments the pre­vious user onboar­ding by inter­ac­ti­ve tutorials.

Fur­ther impro­ve­ments in the new soft­ware ver­si­on con­cern opti­miza­ti­ons in calen­dar func­tion and time recor­ding as well as opti­miza­ti­on in PLANTA pul­­se-REST-API and bug fix.
