| Translated by Julian Hammer
PLANTA releases new versions of its PLANTA project, PLANTA portfolio, and PLANTA pulse project management software. These new versions come with extended functionality, performance improvement, and bug fixes. A special highlight is the new interface to Jira.
Jira interface
To extend the scope of application of agile project management, PLANTA provides an interface to Jira via the new PLANTA Jira link add-on, and thus provides a means to connect yet another agile system to PLANTA project in addition to PLANTA pulse.
The Jira integration, which is based on web interfaces (PLANTA link), enables you, among other things, to synchronize projects and tasks which have been planned in PLANTA project using Jira. Conversely, the hours reported in Jira can also be synchronized with PLANTA project. In Jira, project teams can manage their tasks flexibly and plan and manage their projects agilely. PLANTA project provides the management with a basis for detailed planning of projects and for monitoring budget, resource utilization, and project progress as well as for reporting projects planned with Jira.
PLANTA project
The extended functionality of PLANTA project provides better options for editing and representation of dependencies between projects. For this purpose, the external links function has been expanded. The editing of individual tasks and the display have been given a more convenient design. The schedule module has been streamlined. In the representation of utilization diagrams, the distinction between different utilization components has been made more easily readable by the use of better color schemes.
The loading times of structured utilization have been improved and an option for enhancing performance via new parameters has been implemented. Process rules which relate to the changing of planning objects have been improved.
In the customizer, extensions and improvements of, a.o., listboxes and object use have been integrated. Now, individual objects from different customizing views can be checked for use in a decentralized manner, which substantially improves usability.
The new conflict management procedure in which individual changes to standard objects are applied automatically can now also be used in updates from older versions. It has furthermore been supplemented with additional parameters via which conflicts can be identified more precisely and which simplify their handling.

In PLANTA pulse you can now receive in-app notifications and telegram notifications. This direct and personal information path supplements the previous options for receiving messages on changes made to tasks in the system, be it via e‑mail notification or via red labels on the board and on the respective cards for all changes made since the last board visit.
The cards of a board with a start and end date can now be displayed in a calendar view.
The user surface of the My Projects panel has been revised.
The alphabetic order facilitates the adding of members to a card.
Working hours can now also be entered in decimal form (i.e. 2.5h instead of 2:30h).
In the Administration panel, user-specific colors can now be defined for labels and user-specific fields.
Details on the current releases can be found in the Release Notes in our PLANTA Wiki. The new versions can be downloaded in the customer area of the website
