Customizing in Project Management – Definition and Meaning

Customizing (also referred to as the customizer view) is a specialized interface or dedicated area within a project management software that allows authorized users—typically administrators or system configurators—to modify and tailor the system. It is used to adapt the software to an organization’s specific requirements, workflows, and data structures. This mode offers advanced configuration options such as adding or changing data fields, workflow definition, or custom report creation.
