PLANTA is a soft­ware com­pa­ny from Karls­ru­he, Ger­ma­ny, with many years of expe­ri­ence in the deve­lo­p­ment of pro­ject manage­ment tools which fre­quent­ly recei­ve excel­lent ratings in assess­ments. We now want to set off in a new direc­tion and are curr­ent­ly in the midd­le of a rapid growth. Your tasks

As part of one of our three teams of deve­lo­pers you will work auto­no­mously accor­ding to Scrum on the crea­ti­on and rea­liza­ti­on of tech­ni­cal solu­ti­ons based on the PLANTA sys­tem. You will be respon­si­ble for the fur­ther deve­lo­p­ment of the pro­ject manage­ment func­tions of the PLANTA soft­ware. This includes the deve­lo­p­ment of the data­ba­se (e.g. desig­ning data models) and pro­gramming in Python . Not least, you will be respon­si­ble for qua­li­ty assu­rance and docu­men­ta­ti­on of the tech­ni­cal rea­liza­ti­on of the deve­lo­ped software.

You have

  • a uni­ver­si­ty degree or trai­ning in infor­ma­tics, late­ral ent­rance pos­si­ble with a cer­tain degree of experience
  • pro­found know­ledge of object ori­en­ted pro­gramming – ide­al­ly in Python 
  • pro­found know­ledge of modern data­ba­se appli­ca­ti­ons (Ora­cle, Mssql)
  • at least two years of pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence in soft­ware development
  • capa­bi­li­ty to pre­sent com­plex IT mat­ters in a clear and pre­cise way
  • good com­mand of Ger­man and Eng­lish (spo­ken and written)
  • Post­greS­QL know­ledge is of advantage
  • pro­ject manage­ment know­ledge is of adavantage
