As a support for our team of web developers we are currently looking for a student assistant.
PLANTA is a medium-sized company from Karlsruhe that develops software products for project management and collaboration. We look back on more than 40 years of activity, mainly in Europe. We frequently receive top ratings in software comparisons.
Your tasks
As part of our team you will work on our collaboration software PLANTApulse in an agile Scrum process based on Node.js.
- You will support us in our frontend development and help us to improve our UI/UX.
- You will design your own UI concepts and implement them.
- You will support us in the further development of the mobile views of our software.
- You will assume quality assurance tasks such as UI/unit tests and testing of new features.
What you should bring in…
- Ongoing studies in (business) informatics or comparable course of studies
- Good programming skills
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and HTML
- Experience in the use of REST APIs, Node.js
- Experience in the implementation of UI/unit tests
- Interest in frontend development and UI design
- Good command of German and English
- Ambition, creativity, and motivation
- A committed, analytical, team-oriented, and self-reliant way of thinking and working
- Availability of 12-20 hours per week
