PLANTA Portfolio: Leader in Portfolio Management
Test
In the 1st CSP AG test regarding
PPM tools, PLANTA Portfolio achieved the best results.
After the successful performance of PLANTA
Project in the PM software report of the BARC Gmbh (www.barc.de), the PLANTA
portfolio management system was convincing in a tool comparison.
In its latest edition*, the project
magazine reports about the selection and decision process for project portfolio
management software and introduces the new approach of evaluating software systems
in an 11-page technical article.
Unlike familiar software comparisons that
oftentimes have an analytical approach and evaluate software functionalities by
certain criteria catalogues, the approach of the PPM tools test is another one:
The subjective impression is essential when selecting a tool because the own expectation
regarding the functional range is similar to the expectation of companies that
are looking for a tool. According to a market research approach, the
participants of the test individually evaluated the presented project portfolio
systems by means of questionnaires in a consistent test scenario.
Subjective criteria ought to play an
important role when selecting Enterprise Project Management Software as the
users' acceptance of a tool is mostly essential for the successful introduction
of new software in a company.
The participants of the 1st
Swiss PPM tools test assessed PLANTA Portfolio to be the best tool with regard
to
·
Portfolio controlling (here PLANTA achieved the
best result of all five assessed products)
·

·
Displaying of project dependencies
·

·
